Mission Statement and Programs
Mission Statement:

Our youth ministries exist to Transform, Equip, and Impact...

First, we exist for lives to be transformed from the dark of this world to the light of Christ.

Second, we exist to equip each student with the tools to live a life reflecting their choice to serve God.

And Third, we exist to use those tools to go back out and impact other lives so that they, too, may begin the process.

These three things span a lifetime: not a singular moment in the Christian life, but an ongoing process in which we live. Our goal is to teach these principles to the students, that they may reflect God's Light in this world.

Our ministries for youth focus on grades 7-12...
Once a youth has officially attended his or her first day of Junior High School, they will then be permitted to join the youth group.

The youth are divided into two age groups: "JJs" for students in Jr High, and "D.O.R.K"(Disciples. Of the. Risen. King.) for students in high school. Each group has regular classes, Bible studies, and outings. Currently" JJs" and "D.O.R.K" meet for Sunday school at 11am (after our contemporary worship service). L.I.F.E also meets for prayer and worship each Wednesday evening as it has done for the past ten years. We also try to provide one fun outing each month for both age groups. Sometimes that outing or event involves both age groups together. Regular service projects are also planned.

Since we are eager to grow our youth groups spiritually and numerically, we look to expand our ministry to include more opportunities to contact and engage our own youth and to help our students to reach out to other teens. Some programs that have worked well in the past include: 1)“” Lock Inn’s -a youth worship service planned and led largely by the kids,)“it’s an all around open-house style fun night designed to attract kids with little or no church background, 2) Disciple a small group Bible studies focusing on the history of Gods and inspired word.

We recognize that working with youth is a very dynamic process; therefore we encourage and support creativity in planning! Our kids are smart, tech-savvy, and wise in the ways of popular culture. They are fun-loving, inquisitive, thoughtful, and ready to be engaged in and about God’s Kingdom.
